Child Care Subsidy provides financial assistance to pay part of the cost of child care for income eligible Indian families. Applications are processed by certification clerks who determine eligibility and assist parents find and enroll their children in an appropriate child care program of their choice.

Child Care Licensing and Monitoring inspects, approves, registers and monitors child care centers and homes that contract with the Cherokee Nation to provide care for Indian children who qualify for subsidy assistance. The caseworkers insure that each facility is in compliance with state health and safety regulations and ameets the tribe's standards of operation and quality of service.

Child Care Administration provides internal program support in areas of data collection, program expenditures and payments, and program fiscal financial planning.
